If you’re planning to trek in places like Peru, Nepal, or Africa, why not take along some of your gently used gear to gift to a porter? Something sitting unused at the back of your closet can be life-changing for a porter working in the mountains daily.

One tree planted

We pay attention to our carbon footprint because we know that air travel releases a large amount of greenhouse gases into the environment. To offset this, we donate a portion of our proceeds from each booking to One Tree Planted to help regenerate forests around the world.

Leave no trace behind

Promoting the 7 principles of Leave No Trace is a crucial sustainability initiative because we want to teach travelers that the best way to be in nature is to leave nothing but footprints behind. We teach our adventurers how to travel minimally so that they can be fully prepared and enjoy their adventure with the most positive environmental impact possible.

Travelers against plastic

YOLO Dream Adventure Travel proudly supports plastic-free initiatives and all of the educational work that is being done by TAP. The fight against single-use and disposable plastic is present among many travelers, and we want to share knowledge and alternatives with each of our guests to prove that traveling plastic-free is easy.

Kilimanjaro porters assistance project

Established in 2003, the Kilimanjaro Porters Assistance Project (KPAP) is an initiative of the International Mountain Explorers Connection (IMEC). KPAP is a legally registered project with a Tanzanian Non-Governmental Organization. KPAP is not a porter membership organization, or a tour operating business, and does not collect any fees from porters or climbing companies. KPAP’s mission is to improve the working conditions of the porters on Kilimanjaro
